It will be in the month of May when a new edition of the Wine and Women awards will take place, where women value the best wines internationally. And it is until May 1 when interested wineries can register for this 12th edition organized by Alamesa, focused on recognizing the role of women in the wine sector.
The aim of the awards is to break false myths deeply rooted in popular culture. For example, it is like the belief that women choose to consume white and rosé wines, preferably sweet and low-grade wines.
There are two categories of the contest: one can participate wineries that want to know the opinion of women about their wines, and the other valued those wines where the production or marketing are held by women. To do this, the wineries must prove that they have at least 50% female participation in the areas of production and distribution responsibility.
